10-30-26   THOUGHTS

WISDOM is here personified as female.  “Nothing you desire compares with her.”  Prov 9:8-10  “Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you,  Reprove a wise man and he will love you.  9  Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser, Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning. 10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

Prov 3:13-18     How blessed is the man who finds wisdom And the man who gains understanding.  14  For her profit is better than the profit of silver And her gain better than fine gold.  15  She is more precious than jewels; And nothing you desire compares with her.  16  Long life is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor.  17  Her ways are pleasant ways And all her paths are peace.  18  She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who hold her fast.

Our Prayer:
May we seek Your wisdom, Father, with all of our hearts.  Remove our desires for that which is nothing.  Give us discernment and discipline in all of our choices.  May we have a closer  walk with You.  Give us peaceful paths as we take hold of Your ways and Your awesome wisdom.    We Pray in Jesus,   Amen.
